BUSINESS GROUP DEVELOPMENT
BTESA was founded in Spain in 1995 by a prestigious alliance of more than 25 telecommunications engineers specialized in the fields of television transmission, satellite and terrestrial telecommunications.
The experience of this initial group, more than 15 years in the business, added to the company current track record, makes an accumulated know-how of more than 40 years in the design and deployment of transmission systems and video and audio infrastructures.
BTESA is a private company, 100% Spanish owned by a limited number of shareholders who share a long-term commitment, independent of investment funds, and who prioritize the reinvestment of profits back into the company, generating then a sound financial health.
Since its beginnings in the Broadcast business, BTESA has been developing its capabilities both in the manufacture of equipment and in the implementation of projects, diversifying the business units (Telecommunications Networks since 2004, Scientific and medical applications since 2013), as well as expanding its operating areas with the opening of subsidiaries to serve Central America (Panama 2000), South America (Bogota 2014 with new office in 2016) and Central Africa (Ouagadougou 2017).
Within this strategy of diversification, BTESA created in 2004 its subsidiary Albentia Systems, current leading provider of broadband wireless access solutions in the Spanish market.
All processes, both R & D and manufacturing, assembly and final tests are carried out in the headquarters and only factory of BTESA, a building built in 2008 with more than 8,000 m2 located in the Leganés Technological Park. This building was designed to meet the needs of BTESA, and has sufficient production areas to meet any manufacturing demand, and with the most modern control and measurement equipment, which is periodically calibrated in the appropriate laboratories. It also has specific areas for tests and measurements, including two climatic chambers to apply stress tests to all amplifiers.
