Manufacture, supply and installation of 5 units of IOT, with all their accessories, for the storage ring RF transmitters of ALBA/CELLS Synchrotron Light Laboratory.
Customer wanted to replace the existing IOT tube and assembly while maintaining the HVPS, cabinet and cooling system
BTESA in charge of site survey, Integration design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of five 80kW IOT tubes at 499,654MHz, their IOT assemblies, the Adaptation kit (cooling, cabling, output coaxial line) and all the modifications needed for reliable operation of the system
Two years after successfully completing this project, BTESA was awarded with the next phase: Ten 80kW IOT tubes with their assemblies and adaptation kits
