Project Description
The station was to be installed in the middle of the desert, without electricity.
BTESA supplied the solar energy system, designed the transmitter and chose the auxiliary equipment for very low energy consumption.
In order to avoid the use of air conditioning, which would have increase the consumption too much, the shelter was designed with passive cooling pipes, so it cooled the equipment by using a water accumulator and the day / night thermal difference of the Sahara desert
