Coinciding with the recent signing of a representation agreement with BTESA for the Spanish market, Evertz’s latest technical conferences are taking place in Valencia, bringing together more than 100 professionals from across Europe to learn about the latest developments in concepts such as IP, live production, UHD, playout, direct-to-consumer, and remote production.
Actively participating in the “evolution of broadcasting” with a presence at major global events such as Euro 2024, the Super Bowl, and the Paris Olympic Games, Evertz continues to target a European market on the cusp of its 20th anniversary in 2027. With more than 1,700 employees, 700 of whom are dedicated to R&D, the company seeks to adapt to the changing needs of broadcasters and content providers, supporting transitions in concepts such as IP, 12G-SDI, and UHD, among many other areas.
As part of its market adaptation, its growth strategy also includes expanding its product portfolio by acquiring long-established and renowned companies in the sector, such as Studer for audio consoles and Quintech for satellite and RF-over-IP solutions. Both products are already fully integrated into the portfolio, with new developments converging to work directly over native IP.
The company, whose projects are part of key players such as ABC, Disney, the NBA, Mediaset Italia, Dorna Sports, and LaLiga, recently embarked on a new phase in Spain with BTESA. The value-added systems integrator has reached an agreement with the Canadian company for the distribution of its solutions in Spain, thus providing cutting-edge solutions to an industry seeking to operate in hybrid environments with an eye toward an IP-based horizon.

“We are proud to support Evertz in its new journey in Spain, offering television and content production companies proven tools to support them in their upcoming challenges,” commented Francisco Menchén, video & audio sales manager at BTESA, who confirmed that they are already actively working to offer tools such as Nexx, Magnum-OS, VUE, and Dreamcatcher to the market.
Evertz’s commitment to Spain reaches a new level with the decision to hold its annual technology conference in Valencia. More than 100 professionals from across Europe, including integrators, distributors, and broadcasters, were able to share knowledge, discover the company’s vision for the evolution of broadcasting, and prepare to face the future challenges of a landscape seeking cost-effective, resilient, and easy-to-use tools.
