Crowdsourcing data verification

BTESA has carried out a Crowsourcing information verification study for one of its main European clients.

The objective of the project is to certify whether the conclusions obtained from the information collected massively via Crowdsourcing is closet to the reality and are reliable for making decisions about, for example, future indoor deployments in certain points of interest with a large amunt of people.

The project has been developed in three phases:

  1. Collection of on-site for signal level and quality samples in a diferent scenarios selected by our client.
  2. Analysis of the data collected and benchmarking against the Crowdsourcing data provided.
  3. Report with the conclusions on the reliability and adjustment to the reality of the Crowdsourcing data and, therefore, its suitability for making future decisions.

This project has been developed in four of our client’s main markets in Europe: Germany, Spain, Romania and Portugal, compiling information from some of the main points of interest in Munich, Madrid, Valencia, Lisbon and Bucharest.
