Project Description
Installation and commissioning of audio and video equipment for the National Assembly of Guinea Bissau.
This project aims to provide the main hall of the National Assembly of Guinea Bissau with the necessary cameras and microphones to have images and sound of the plenary sessions, meetings, or events held there.
The equipment we installed in the initial phase is composed of:
- 4 PTZ cameras, with its remote controller.
- A conference system from Bosch, the Dicentis model, which consists of 20 microphones with built-in speakers, a processor that manages the audio from these microphones, and a server with Dicentis software to manage the meetings, their schedule, participants, etc…
- A server with two licenses of MVI software: EasyCam and EasyConf.
- A multiviewer to be able to have a multiscreen signal with video signal from the 4 installed cameras.
As in all integration projects carried out by BTESA, prior to delivering the equipment to its destination, the whole assembly is installed and tested at our headquarters, to be able to carry out the installation and commissioning at the client’s facilities with all guarantees.
Once the work was completed at the destination, and upon request of the technical managers of the Assembly, we made significant improvements to the project to add new fonctionalities, such as recordring and broadcasting online the events that took place in the National Assembly. The following equipment was added:
- a video mixer
- a video matrix
- two audio distributors
- two streaming devices
- a recorder to store images and sound from the Assembly.
When the installation of the equipment was completed and its operation was tested, training courses were granted to the Assembly employees on how to use the system, and user guides were customized for the use of the different equipment, including as-installed block diagrams and plans.
