Technical seminar: “Broadcast Meets Broadband”

On 25 June, BTESA is organising the technical seminar “Broadcast Meets Broadband“, a key event to be held at our headquarters in Leganés.  

During this session, we will discuss the evolution, over the past year, of the two terrestrial broadcasting technologies, DVB-T2 and DAB+, as well as their integration with the DVB-I standard  

• Evolution of DVB-T2 and DAB+: We will analyse the roll-out and maturity achieved by both terrestrial broadcasting technologies over the past year.  

• The DVB-I revolution: We will explore this standard, designed to unify service discovery across broadcast, IPTV and OTT networks.   

• Strategic impact: We will explain how these technologies affect current and future business models in content distribution.  

To provide a comprehensive and practical overview, the workshop will combine high-level technical presentations, analyses of successful case studies, and live demonstrations in our laboratories.
